Remember that you don't need to

Creating Your Website
  1. Log into your Sharefaith account.
  2. From the My Account page, click on Website & App.
  3. Unless you already have a demo site you want to use or are a Complete member who wants us to migrate the content from an existing site, you'll need to click Start a new website.
  4. Select a theme from the choices given to create your site. Note: You can change your template at any time later down the road without losing your content.
  5. Once created, you will receive an email with your login details for your website and hosting control panel. Your website will be created under a temporary domain name until you are ready to publish it by registering or transferring a domain for it. That is the final step before you publish, so hold off on that part until you are ready for the website to go live.

Editing Your Website

Here are some of the basics that you'll need to know how to do as you put your site together and will tell you everything you need to know on how to do the most routine changes that you'll make to your site. Each of these steps is linked to a brief tutorial that explains how to do it.

Make sure that you have the following information on your site before you publish it: About (tell your mission and vision and introduce them to your church), service times, location, contact information.

Additional tutorials for features that you can add to enhance your church website:

  1. Sermon playlists.
  2. Add online giving to your site.
  3. Google Calendar.
  4. Contact forms.
  5. Embed social media and videos.
  6. Add users.

Going Live With Your Website

Once you have your site ready for the public, you will need to add a domain to it for it to go live. Make sure that you do not do this until you are ready. Once you start the process, you will need to wait until it has completed before you can access your site again to see it or work on it.

Once your website is published, you will be able to access it in the same way you did before so you can login and make changes whenever you want to. If you want to explore other tutorials and features for the websites, feel free to look through all of our tutorials on church websites
