Whether it be a fundraiser with a specific theme or a specific emotion you wish your campaign to convey in its marketing materials, the Sharefaith Media Library search feature has you covered. Review the following tips, and, like we have already been charged as believers, "...Seek, and you shall find..." (Matthew 7:7)




General Searching


Pinned just beneath the navigation menu bar, the Search Bar offers users not only the ability to quickly find assets based on specific keywords and titles, but also allows them to conveniently filter said searches right from the bar itself using the Media Type Dropdown.

Searching by Media Type


Looking for something specific but know you need it in a particular format? The Media Type Dropdown is for you! Simply click the dropdown box displayed to the left of the Search Bar, select your desired media type from the list of available options, and search your desired search terms to efficiently navigate to a list of assets matching those specifications.


NOTE: The Media Type Dropdown only allows ONE media type to be specified before searching. If you wish to expand your search to MULTIPLE media types, instead continue reading as this capability is covered in the following, Applied Filters section of this article


NOTE: Want to filter your search by Category instead of Media Type? The Media Type Dropdown is also (lovingly) referred to as the Search Filter Dropdown as it offers you the ability to filter not only by Media Type but also by Category. Simply review the Searching by Category section of this article covered below.




Applied Filters


The Media Type Dropdown only allows ONE media type to be specified before searching. If you wish to expand your search to MULTIPLE media types, instead check the Media Type checkboxes you wish in the Sidebar Menu. This will cause the Media Type Dropdown to display as "Applied Filters" enabling all searches to make use of the filtering specified in the Sidebar. (as shown in the image above)



Searching by Category


If you wish to search by Category, rather than by Media Type, simply navigate to your desired category by clicking either the title or "View All" link of the Category Slider. Doing so will alter the Media Type Dropdown to filter future searches by the Category in view. (see image above)





Searching by Tag / Keyword


As shown in the image above, upon clicking an asset's Keyword via its Product Page, the Sharefaith Media Library will automatically begin a new search using the selected Keyword using the initial asset's Audience and Media Type as the default filters.
