In this tutorial, we will be covering how to disable/enable the ability to have individuals comment on your Sharefaith website.

Please Note: if you want to allow individuals to comment on your Sharefaith website, you are opening the floodgates for spam. If you still want to allow comments, we recommend that you install the plugin called Akismet. This will help prevent the amount of spam you receive from comments.

How to disable/enable comments on your Sharefaith website:

  1. In edit mode, click on the "More" or "Toolbar Toggle" tab.

  2. Now that your toolbar is expanded, click on the  "Post details" button.
  3. Within the "Post details" you will see the option to allow user comments, check or uncheck on enable and disable comments.
  4. After you have made the appropriate changes, simply click on the green "Save" button located inside the black toolbar to save the changes you just made.

Please Note: We recommend using Google Chrome or Firefox to edit/update your Sharefaith Church Website and Mobile App. If you are experiencing any issues with editing your Sharefaith Church Website or Mobile App, switch to one of these browsers. If the issue still persists or you are experiencing your issue while using one of these browsers contact a Sharefaith Customer Liaison Specialist by creating a new support request.
